WP2 Voice Platform and Toolbox

The objectives of this work package are to define the technical architecture of the platform functionally defined in WP1, to develop and integrate all of the components, and to deliver the platform for direct implementation by WP4 and WP5. As the pilots will be conducted on two cycles, the platform will be rolled-out in two different versions: version 1 will be built upon off-the-shelf components, while version 2 will integrate requirements stemming from cycle 1 assessment and incorporate specific developments from WP3. The document eventually released (toolbox) will give a comprehensive description of the platform and of its technical ecosystem, to enable an easy replication of the concept in similar contexts.

The toolbox will address both access challenges (mobile voice-based access to local content) and content issues (integrating community radio resources).
