TNO

The Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research (TNO) is a non-profit research organisation. Established in 1932, TNO's public mission has been established by law to support industry and society in general in transforming knowledge into products and processes of economic and societal value. In 2007, TNO employs about 4300 professionals. Subdivision of TNO, TNO Information and Communication Technology is a unique centre of innovation in the Netherlands that brings together the ICT and Telecom disciplines of TNO. It helps companies, government bodies and (semi-)public organisations to realise successful innovations in ICT.

TNO will lead WP1 and work on business modelling/adoption methodology for mobile/voice services. TNO will also work on impact assessment of the different activities in the pilot projects.
